Our Core Values

Success in life is never a simple path from A to B. For someone to succeed, they need to have the resilience to bounce back from challenges and overcome failure.  

At Willesley, we talked to all stakeholders to find out what attributes children need in order to prepare for their future lives and succeed. They came up with lots of super characteristics which we have honed down to create our 12 Core Values: 

Communication, confidence, cooperation, empathy, friendship, imagination, independence, kindness, listening, perseverance, respect and self-esteem. 

We believe that if children develop these, they will be armed with the tools needed to be successful and happy adults. Opportunities for children to develop these skills are provided throughout daily life at our school and in all lessons that take place.
